MIM’S ANNUAL ACTIVITY PROGRAM
The following events have been planned for the year 2012:
1. A joint seminar with Turkish Association of Civil and Environmental Engineers (TASCEE)
On April 14, 2012 in Toros Restaurant, Paterson New Jersey
Subject: Immigration Laws/Regulations and Job Search
Speakers: An Immigration Lawyer and a Job Hunter
2. A Dinner at the Turkuaz Restaurant in New York City at Broadway and 100th street
After the Turkish Day Parade in New York City, MIM members will meet at Turkuaz Restaurant for a diner and networking.
3. A seminar on Forensic Science in May 2012
Two experts in the field of forensic science will be making a presentation
The date and the speakers are to be announced.
4. Annual MIM Picnic in June or July 2012
The place and the exact date are to be announced.
5. A boat Trip Around the Manhattan Island in September 2012
The trip includes a dinner and dance party on board a ship
The exact data is to be announced.
6. MIM’s Technical Congress on October 20, 2012
A one day symposium is being organized by MIM at Columbia University on October 20, 2012. Scientist and engineers who are well known in their field of expertise will be invited to make presentations. Accomplished scientists or/and engineers will be honored and presented certificates at the symposium. Presentations will be published in the symposium proceedings.
7. A New Year Party on December 31, 2012
MIM will organize a party to celebrate coming of a new year.
